I spent a lot of the second half of 2021 doing shows with the Salamander Collective.
The Salamander Collective is an improvisational funk band mostly centered in Colorado’s Western Slope and Northern Arizona. I’ve had a really good time working both as a sound engineer and musician, and it’s been fun to play “musical chairs”, swapping between mixing, keyboards, bass, drums, and vocals.
We’ve done a couple small festivals, but even more fun have been the parties we’ve played out in various wilderness spaces like Moab or Lizard Head pass.
